Technical high school Varappetty is under the Technical Education Department was inaugurated in 1985 by the Honorable Education Minister Mr. T M Jacob. This school is located in varapetty Panchayat of Kothamangalam Taluk. It first started functioning in the rented premises of Inchoor Marthoma Syrian Jacobite Church. Since June 2016, This institution has been functioning in a new building constructed at Inchoor Ambalampadi. From 2016-2017, 45 students are selected for 8th class on the basis of entrance examination. Both boys and girls are admitted here. Various engineering subjects are included in the curriculum with emphasis on technical education.
